Status: Failed in Lafayette. | Homepage

Another better-than-average pizza chain that couldn't keep up with the cheapies. The original Lafayette location was in Ambassador Row, I believe where Azteca's is now. It too featured a buffet with a special feature: fried potato wedges. That location went out of business sometime in the 1990s. A later location resided in the Westwood Shopping Center where Rouse's is now. Oddly enough, Godfather's returned to Lafayette later in the 1990's, but within the confines of the cafeteria in the UL student union. I don't know whether they were still serving Godfather's pizza to the students when the union was closed and demolished in 2012.1
