On January 17, 2013, The Tea Party.net posted a request to Sarah Palin, asking her to lead Tea Party efforts to support the Second Amendment and stand up to Obama and other gun-grabbers in Washington. Here's why I believe that Sarah Palin will not answer this request.

As much as we want her to be a leader, Sarah Palin has shown that she doesn't want to be one. She was essentially silent during the 2012 election. And I can't say that I blame her. She is raising a special-needs child and wants to protect her family from the harassment they received when she was thrust into the spotlight.

I wish her the best of luck in her endeavors, but I don't expect her to be the messianic leader that we crave so badly.
